Somehow I don't think this single will catch on like Strobe did. It's a lot more subtle, and a lot less catchy. In fact, I'd say it was fairly interchangeable with a lot of other house tracks released over the last few years - there's nothing really special or different about it. It's all very staid and predictable, and I'm quite sure that this won't be talked about in months to come. That said, it's not a terrible track. I can imagine it going down well in a club, the build ups working particularly well.
The remixes bring the score up from a 2 to a 3, in my opinion. The first of the remixes (the Progression Remix) pulls the score for the single up substantially. It's faster, more drum-heavy, and generally a better track for it. The second of the remixes, the Edx 5un5hine Remix, sounds even better. Better build up at the start, more defined drop. It's how the actual track should have originally sounded. Everything sounds just a bit more vivid in this track and a lot less subtle, and it benefits it well.
Overall, I'd give this a 3 star rating. Sure, they can't all be hits, but Deadmau5 has given us a lot better than this in the past, and I'm sure this could've been better.
